Help for Women & Children
SERVICES OFFERED TO VICTIMS/SURVIVORS OF MICHIGAN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INCLUDE: 24-hour Crisis Hotline, assistance with the judicial process, free transportation, legal referrals, counseling and court advocacy, help on the fight against violence against women, housing assistance, child care, assistance with law enforcement, crisis intervention and short term crisis therapeutics, protection orders, psychological counseling, parenting classes, medical services and referrals, interagency information and referral, employment resources, a safe place for women and children.
CALL 911 IF YOU ARE A VICTIM. Domestic abuse can never be justified or excused, when both partners use violence to get what they want or to get their point across, it creates an environment that is extremely toxic and harmful to themselves and especially their children, who will grow up thinking a dysfunctional relationship is normal.
